Merino fleece is different from the synthetic fleece we usually associate with the word “fleece.” It's a dense merino wool fabric with a soft, fluffy texture that traps air between the fibers, creating a natural insulating layer around the body.
The fabric is dense, lofty, and warm, making this vest a wonderful extra layer for the colder months. And because it's made from merino wool, it retains merino wool's natural thermoregulating properties.
Wear it over a shirt, blouse, sweater, or fine merino wool – as a standalone outer layer on milder autumn and spring days, or as part of your layers in winter.
