Made for truly cold days – a dense, fluffy, exceptionally warm winter layer made from merino wool.
Merino fleece is different from the synthetic fleece we usually associate with the word “fleece.” It is a dense, soft merino wool fabric with a fluffy texture that traps air between the fibers, creating a natural insulating layer around the body.
The fabric is very dense and warm, making it suitable for cold winter days and even the lowest temperatures, when your baby needs extra protection outdoors.
Despite its density, it is still merino wool – a natural material with excellent thermoregulating properties that helps maintain a comfortable temperature without feeling heavily bundled up.
Designed for winter down to the smallest detail
- Adjustable hood with ties – can be fastened around the head for better protection in cold and windy weather.
- Fold-over cuffs (up to size 86/92) – let you tuck your baby’s hands in completely for protection when temperatures drop.
- Fold-over foot covers (up to size 86/92) – for extra warmth without needing another layer over the feet.
- Diagonal zipper – makes dressing and undressing easier, making life with a little baby that bit easier.
- Hood with little ears – a small detail that turns this practical winter bunting suit into a real MeriBoo teddy bear.
In sizes up to 86/92, the design lets you fully cover your baby’s hands and feet in colder weather, and leave them free when extra protection isn’t needed.
Size 98/104 does not have fold-over cuffs or foot covers. At this age, children walk on their own and want their hands free, while folded-over cuffs get in their way more than they help. The fleece is just as dense and warm as in the other sizes.
This is the densest and warmest version of merino wool in the MeriBoo collection. Designed for winter walks when it can be truly cold outside, while inside the little “bear” stays soft, warm, and cozy.
